Orphan Black. At first, a small Canadian show that quickly became one of the best TV shows of the last few years, period, to the point where even good ol’ ‘Murica decided that it should air on its side of the border. If you’re reading this, you’re probably already on-board – and also a member of the Tatiana Maslany fan club. But I mean, who isn’t? Tatiana Maslany is the best. The world agrees, the Buns agree, and here’s what they have to say about the upcoming season.
Orphan Black is the “Whaaaaa-” show. Surprisingly enough, that doesn’t mean that it’s entirely unpredictable – just that despite some of it being predictable, it always manages to leave me in awe – or, you know, in “wha-“. The end of season 2 almost killed me, not so much because they revealed the male clones, but because they kept teasing at Cosima’s death. DON’T YOU DARE, SHOW. DON’T YOU DARE KILLING THE MOST AWESOMEST CHARACTER EVER. That said, I am mind-blown every time I remember that half of the characters on Orphan Black are played by the same woman, yet manage to be completely different people. I am definitely excited to discover the different male clones. The big question for this season is: will they be as well-written as their female counterparts?
There is quite possibly nothing that I look forward to more than the premiere of Season 3 of Orphan Black. It’s been one hell of a roller-coaster from the very first moment, and it continued getting better and better, and I’m pretty sure it’ll just explode one day from its own awesomeness. It already went down the craziest roads, and yet there’s still so much to tell – the stories of the clones, the destiny of Kira, the future of Delphine and Cosima. And oh my god, Felix! Can I please have my own Felix? Please? The new season looks like one insane ride, and I can’t wait to see it all. If there’s anything we can say for sure about Orphan Black it’s that it’s not going to be boring.
That’s it for us Buns! What about you? Are you looking forward to Orphan Black season 3?
